In Vitro and in Vivo Management of Sclerotium rolfsii the Cause of Sugar Beet Root Rot Disease

چکیده
Management of sugar beet damping off and root rot diseases caused by Sclerotium rolfsii is urgently needed. Therefore, antifungal activities 13 materials including 2 bio agents, seaweeds, 3 chemical inducers 6 fungicides were evaluated. Required inoculum potential either fungal mass or sclerotia to reach more than 50% disease incidence was firstly investigated. Fungal inoculation (40-500g/10kg soil) provided 70-100% 100% rot. Meanwhile, 6.7-36.7% no negligible obtained using 300-500 /10kg soil. On the other hand, S. mycelial growth completely suppressed in vitro all tested materials. However, various these shown vivo after seed soaking in 1st (2020/2021) trail followed soil drenching 2nd (2021/2022) trail. Tipo top (Tebuoconazole 25.9%: 1cm/L) fungicide most effective material since seedling survival up 80%, potassium silicate (1cm/L) Score (Difenoconazole 25%: fungicide. Seed with protected from sowing harvest enhanced weight. Additionally, this study illustrated that both weight sucrose content decreased as severity increased. In conclusion, are unfortunately still fast potent way for management, especially limitation resistant cultivars.

Root Rot Detection in Sugar Beet Using Digital Multispectral Video
A study to determine whether root rot infestations can be detected using high spatial resolution digital multispectral video (DMSV) data was conducted in the Imperial Valley of California. DMSV data were collected on two dates over 25 fields during the summer of 1999 using a light aircraft. The DMSV images included four spectral bands centered on 530 nm, 570 nm, 650 nm and 750 nm, with nominal ...
متن کاملAntagonistic Activities of Trichoderma spp. on Phytophthora Root Rot of Sugar Beet
Trichoderma species are among important antagonists of plant pathogenic fungi. The main purpose of this study was to evaluate the biocontrol potential of native Trichoderma spp. isolates from sugar beet fields against Phytophthora drechsleri and P. cryptogea, the causal agents of Phytophthora root rot of sugar beet. During 2007–08, 85 isolates of Trichoderma spp. from sugar beet fields in eight...

in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.
Influence of glyphosate on Rhizoctonia and Fusarium root rot in sugar beet.
This study tests the effect of glyphosate application on disease severity in glyphosate-resistant sugar beet, and examines whether the increase in disease is fungal or plant mediated. In greenhouse studies of glyphosate-resistant sugar beet, increased disease severity was observed following glyphosate application and inoculation with certain isolates of Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn and Fusarium oxys...
متن کاملTemperature, moisture, and fungicide effects in managing Rhizoctonia root and crown rot of sugar beet.
Rhizoctonia solani AG-2-2 is the causal agent of Rhizoctonia root and crown rot in sugar beet; however, recent increases in disease incidence and severity were grounds to reevaluate this pathosystem. To assess the capacity at which other anastomosis groups (AGs) are able to infect sugar beet, 15 AGs and intraspecific groups (ISGs) were tested for pathogenicity on resistant ('FC708 CMS') and sus...
